Timeline

2014

Nanolumi Lead Inventor, Tan Zhi Kuang, published research paper in Nature on “bright light-emitting diodes based on organometal halide perovskite”.

2017

Partnered with National University of Singapore (NUS), Asia’s Top University for Chemistry, to conduct deeper research & development on perovskite.

2018

Nanolumi officially incorporated as a company in Singapore by advanced materials veteran and entrepreneur, Jax Lee, to commercialize Chameleon® Perovskite Nanocrystal Technology.

2019

Raised seed funding of USD $1 million.

Launched Chameleon® G Film, industry’s first green perovskite colour enhancement film for displays offering the purest, brightest & widest range of colours; Launched Reyal brand for product authentication and security applications.

2020

Unveiled world’s first perovskite-enhanced 32” 4K HDR miniLED display at Display Week 2020; Enabled by Chameleon® G Film covering > 90% Rec. 2020, >99% DCI-P3, >99% Adobe RGB.

2022

Upgraded our core facility with site expansion to One-North, allowing scale-up in development and manufacturing capabilities for advanced imaging and product authentication applications.
